LEESBURG, FL – age 75, Jim passed away peacefully Thursday, June 25, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer at home with his family by his side.

He was born in Appleton, WI on December 19, 1944 son of the late Anthony Metz and Isabel Mowry. Jim will be fondly remembered as the owner of Sunburst Jewelers in Racine, WI. Prior to that Jim served his Country honorably in the US Airforce from 1965-1969.

Retiring in 2005, he and Lindy moved to South Carolina for 11 years and then made the move to Florida. Wherever they went, new friends were made, but their lasting ties to Racine include extended family, friends, and the Green Bay Packers.
